Alan began his Financial Services career in 1991, after relocating to Peoria from Texas, where he was the owner/manager of his own retail business. In Peoria, he joined a nationally known financial services company, and was recognized with a number of local and national awards, including the National Quality Award, Fast Start Award, Master Agent Growth Award, and two Challenger of the Year (Outstanding Young Agent) Awards.

In 1998, Alan was asked to join the Hawk Agency to provide expertise in estate planning, business succession and continuation, retirement planning for businesses and individuals, life insurance planning, and investment sales. Beginning in 2000, Alan was named a member of the American Funds All-American Team, and is now a member of the President’s Club for American Funds.

Alan’s practice is governed by the Code of Ethics of the NAIFA, which in part states, “I believe it to be my responsibility to fulfill the needs of my clients to the best of my ability”.

Alan lives in Peoria with his spouse, Beth Weinberg-Gordon and their daughter, Shayna Weinberg-Gordon.
